| York, Nostradamus predict 49ers will win NFC West |

 SAN FRANCISCO, CA - Despite starting the season 0-5, the winless The San Francisco 49ers will still win the NFC West title according to team President and Owner, Jed York.Although a weak remaining schedule is in their favor, it's highly unlikely that the 49ers will live up to such expectations. Since the new playoff system was adopted in 1990, no team that has started the season 0-5 has gone on to win it's division or make the playoffs. In a an early morning text to ESPN, York seemed confident about what the future holds for his team. "We're going to win the division, Nostradamus predicted it." Nostradamus, was a French pharmacist and reputed clairvoyant who published collections of prophecies that have since become famous worldwide. Some claim he predicted the Janet Jackson wardrobe malfunction which occurred during Super Bowl 38. The 49ers will start their miraculous run this Sunday at home against the Oakland Raiders, who miraculously have 2 wins already this season. |
