KANNAPOLIS, NC - Tony Stewarts courtship with Darian Grubb ended yesterday when Stewart-Haas Racing announced that The Burger King will replace Grubb as crew cheif for Stewart's #14 race car. Grubb and Stewart had success this season winning the All Star race in Charlotte, but the two couldn't make it work. Stewart seemed optimistic about bringing the Burger King on board.
"He was a great choice, he has excellent leadership qualities." Stewart said.
When asked why he chose The Burger King even though has the reputation of being snobby, Stewart implied that The King was misunderstood.
"He is a quiet guy. I've never even seen him move his lips." Stewart explained.
